In February of 2025 I went on a Bike trip across Ghana where I met Ekua, a 11 year old girl with a blood sickness called Sickle Cell. To raise awareness of Sickle Cell she and her sister rode from Tamale in the north of Ghana to Accra, the capital of Ghana.
All in all they spent 9 days and rode around 750KM in total! Their story is simply amazing so I interviewed both and their father which you can see here:

She told me that her biggest dream would be a new faster and more comfortable bike because she needs more gears. Her current bike is tough on her body so I will try to get her and her sister new bikes so they can continue their amazing work on raising awareness for Sickle Cell and inspire people around the globe that nothing is impossible.
